Urban Floors carries out subfloor preparation as part of supply-and-fit projects: screeding concrete floors and ply boarding timber floors, with materials supplied by Urban Floors. Preparation is assessed at the free measure and included in your fixed price, so there are no surprises on fitting day.
Ashton would rather tell you the subfloor needs work than fit a beautiful floor that fails. That honesty is the point of Urban Floors.

What happens if preparation is skipped
Ridges and dips show through
Thin floors such as LVT and vinyl telegraph every flaw in the base.
Joints fail
Floating floors flex on uneven bases, opening or lifting joints.
Adhesive won't bond
Glued floors need a clean, sound surface. Without it, tiles lift.
Paying twice
A failed floor has to be lifted, the base prepared and a new floor fitted: far more than preparing it first.
