What screeding does
Screeding (often called smoothing or levelling) creates a flat surface over a concrete subfloor. It fills dips, covers minor cracks and gives thin floors such as LVT and vinyl the smooth base they need.
Urban Floors carries out screeding with materials supplied by Urban Floors, as part of supply-and-fit projects. The need for screeding is assessed at the free measure and included in your fixed price.
For gluedown LVT in particular, screeding is often what makes the difference between a floor that looks perfect and one that shows every flaw.
