What engineered wood is
Engineered wood has a real hardwood top layer bonded to a stable multi-layer core. You get the look, feel and warmth of genuine timber, with a construction that is more stable than solid wood in changing conditions.
Urban Floors supplies and fits engineered wood. (Solid wood flooring, and sanding or refinishing existing floors, are not currently offered.)
Timber floors reward careful preparation. Ashton checks the subfloor at the free measure and plans the layout, expansion gaps and thresholds before fitting day.

Final walk-through with you. Installation is backed by a 2-year free-of-charge guarantee; the manufacturer's product guarantee is passed on to you.

Preparation
Screeding or ply boarding, with materials supplied by Urban Floors, gives timber the flat base it needs.
