Local flooring in Finchley
Flooring for Finchley homes
Finchley is around 5 miles from Islington, and Urban Floors covers East Finchley, North Finchley, Church End and Finchley Central for supply-and-fit flooring.
Finchley is largely residential, with Edwardian and inter-war semi-detached and detached family houses, plus mansion blocks and modern flats near the high roads.
Finchley's inter-war and Edwardian family houses often need hard-wearing carpet for stairs and landings and practical LVT or laminate downstairs. Larger through-lounges benefit from careful seam planning at the measure.
We cover East Finchley, North Finchley, Church End, Finchley Central, West Finchley and surrounding streets in N2, N3, N12.
Every job in Finchley starts with a free measuring visit by Ashton himself, followed by a fixed-price quote, usually within 24 hours. Visits are booked by appointment during opening hours, and Finchley is about 5 miles from our Islington base.

Know your home
Flooring challenges in Finchley
Family traffic
Busy households need carpets and stair runners chosen for durability, not just softness.
Mixed subfloors
Extensions often have concrete floors while the original house has timber, so preparation differs room to room.
Long open-plan spaces
Large knocked-through rooms may suit gluedown LVT for stability.
Where preparation is needed, Urban Floors carries out screeding and ply boarding with materials supplied, and includes it in your fixed price.
