Local flooring in Camden
Flooring for Camden homes
Camden borders Islington, and Urban Floors fits flooring across the area, including Kentish Town, Camden Town, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill and Gospel Oak.
Camden's housing ranges from grand Victorian villas and stucco terraces to converted flats, mansion blocks and modern apartments. Many homes are split across several floors, which means plenty of stairs and landings.
Camden's tall, multi-storey houses mean long flights and several landings, so runner alignment and hard-wearing carpet on the main stair matter most. Open-plan lower ground floors often suit gluedown LVT in herringbone.
We cover Camden Town, Kentish Town, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill, Gospel Oak, Chalk Farm and surrounding streets in NW1, NW3, NW5.
Every job in Camden starts with a free measuring visit by Ashton himself, followed by a fixed-price quote, usually within 24 hours. Visits are booked by appointment during opening hours.
Common requests in Camden

Flooring challenges in Camden
Multi-floor stairs
Tall houses mean long flights and several landings. Runners must stay perfectly aligned all the way up.
Old timber subfloors
Original boards often need ply boarding before hard floors go down.
Access and parking
Busy streets make planning the fitting day important. This is discussed at the measure.
Where preparation is needed, Urban Floors carries out screeding and ply boarding with materials supplied, and includes it in your fixed price.
