Local flooring in Holloway
Flooring for Holloway homes
Holloway is right next door to Urban Floors' base in Islington. Ashton fits carpets, stair runners and hard flooring in homes across Holloway, Tufnell Park and Upper Holloway.
Holloway has a mix of Victorian terraces, converted flats, ex-local-authority blocks and newer developments. Many homes are flats where practical, quiet flooring matters.
Many Holloway homes are flats, so quiet underlay and hard-wearing carpet are popular. Concrete floors in purpose-built blocks usually need screeding before vinyl or LVT can be laid flat.
We cover Holloway, Upper Holloway, Tufnell Park, Lower Holloway, Nag's Head and surrounding streets in N7, N19.
Every job in Holloway starts with a free measuring visit by Ashton himself, followed by a fixed-price quote, usually within 24 hours. Visits are booked by appointment during opening hours.

Flooring challenges in Holloway
Concrete subfloors in blocks
Flats in purpose-built blocks often have concrete floors that need screeding before LVT or vinyl.
Worn stair carpet
Busy family staircases wear at the nosing first; the right carpet and underlay make a real difference.
Noise in flats
Underlay choice helps reduce sound transfer to neighbours.
Where preparation is needed, Urban Floors carries out screeding and ply boarding with materials supplied, and includes it in your fixed price.
