Ashton started in flooring in 2000 at Carpetright and spent over 15 years as a manager before setting up Urban Floors. He knows which carpets wear well, which look good for six months and then flatten, and which suit a home with children, pets or rented rooms.
You get one person from measure to fit. Ashton measures every room himself, plans seams and doorways, supplies the carpet and underlay and fits it. One point of contact and a clear plan agreed before fitting day.

Carpet constructions
Cut pile, loop pile and textured carpets each look and wear differently. Ashton will explain the practical difference in your rooms rather than in a brochure.
Room by room
Bedrooms can take softer, more luxurious carpets. Hallways, landings and stairs need harder-wearing constructions. A good scheme uses the right carpet in the right place.
Underlay
Underlay affects comfort, warmth, noise and how long the carpet lasts. It is supplied and fitted with every carpet.
Doorways and transitions
Where carpet meets LVT, laminate or vinyl, the transition is planned so floor heights and thresholds finish neatly.
